The examples of the exposition are those compositions that we can read from most of the magazine articles, editorials and textbooks. The Description type of discourse tries to make the readers realize how you felt in certain circumstances.
It makes your reader to see or to hear something like what you yourself heard or saw. Through this type of discourse, you make your readers to have a quality of direct experience. This type of discourse describes what the writer saw or experience. The Narration type of discourse tells your readers about a certain event.
It informed them what happened and how it happened. It further gives your readers with the impression of the particular event. Narration type of discourse gives your readers the sense of witnessing a certain situation.
It narrates the story or a certain events to the readers. The Argumentation type of discourse makes your readers change their mind, their points of views, their attitudes or their feelings. One of the key factor here is the ability of the writer to persuade his or her readers with regards to the matter that is being discussed.
The writer might use exposition, description, narration and argumentation depending upon his end purpose. The writer must define his or her objectives accordingly to use the proper form of discourse.
